Ľuboš Blaha, Deputy Speaker of Parliament for Fico’s SMER party, removed the European Union flag and the portrait of the President from his office in the National Assembly of the Slovak Republic, replacing them with a portrait of Ernesto Guevara.
He is a staunch supporter of Russia and the Kremlin’s foreign policy objectives. Blaha is among the first politicians to adopt Russian disinformation narratives into his political rhetoric, starting in 2018.
