Journalists from RTVS have released a powerful video warning against political interference and censorship in their news coverage. Appearing with tape over their mouths, they symbolise the threat of being silenced. As Marta Jančkárová states, “We don’t want to be silenced, but it’s a real threat.” They voice a shared concern: “We fear that public broadcasting will soon be hijacked, and freedom of speech in Slovakia will be restricted.” This video highlights the urgent need to protect the integrity and independence of public service media in Slovakia.
